A perfect day trip rom Salzburg to Munich including Bavarian highlights we leaving Salzburg crossing German border in to Bavaria in the direction of Munich. In less than an hour we come to our first view of a large lake Chiemsee and it is Germany’s third largest lake. (King Ludwig’s creations palaces one on Herrenchiemsee Island and the other one is Frauen Chimsee). Chiemsee also called “The Bavarian See “. On our ride to Munich most journey we can enjoy the Bavarian Alpine scenery.
On the classic way we will then return to Salzburg. On request it can be customized with the tour ends at your choice of any location in Munich city or dropped off at Munich Airport. (Dropping at Munich city no extra cost, dropping at Munich Airport extra kilometers cost will be EUR 90/-.

Munich city, the capital city of the Free State of Bavaria, is one of the major and historic cities in Germany. Munich offers many attractions depending on your interest, there is always Oktoberfest atmosphare in the city, traditional Bavarian beer and pork knuckle, BMW World, FC Bayern very impressive architectural soccer stadium Allianz Arena , or discovering the history and culture with the Palaces and Museums, we can design the day in Munich suitable to your interests.
The old part of the city area around Marienplatz and Maximilianstrasse is delightful for a stroll, a drink or a meal at a traditional restaurant. There are many famous beer halls such as the Hofbrauhaus, Franziskaner, Augustiner and many more special ones. For beer lovers there is plenty of choice and the ambience is impressive. The Bavarian culture distinctive and most renowned is the Oktoberfest. Other top tourist attractions in Munich are the Residence Museum, the Nymphenburg Palace, the Technical Museum, the Bavarian Film Studios, the Allianz Soccer Stadium and BMW World. There is also the Olympic park and English gardens. For those who interested in visiting the Nymphenburg Palace, the palace tour is possible, but the highlight is the gardens.
For those with an interest in BMW (Bavarian Motor Works), near to the company’s headqurters in the legendary BMW tower you can visit the Exhibition hall (Monday is closed),also the Museum and the Factory Tour. The factory tour requires booking far in advance.
For those with an interest in Soccer, the historic stadium Allianz Arena, or FC Bayern visits are possible on non-match days. For Souvenirs there are amazing shops, one for the stadium and one for the Soccer Club, the stadium tour also needs to be booked in advance.

On request it would be possible visit to King Ludwig’s palace at Chiemsee. These arrangments can be discussed with your tour guide with respect to adjusting the rest of the tour.
